WuXi XDC released its 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, outlining strong financial growth alongside marked improvements in sustainability metrics. Revenue climbed 46.70% year-on-year to RMB X.XX billion, while gross profit advanced 72.50% over the same period. The number of integrated projects rose from 194 to 252, reflecting healthy pipeline momentum.

Governance indicators remained robust. All board directors and employees completed anti-corruption training, and every operational site underwent both business-ethics audits and risk assessments. Supplier oversight was strengthened, with 100% of targeted partners signing environmental and social clauses and participating in capacity-building initiatives. ISO 27001 certification now covers every site, underlining enhanced information-security controls.

On the social front, female employees accounted for 52% of the workforce and 38% of senior management. Occupational-health measures continued to deliver zero lost workdays for the third consecutive year, supported by ISO 45001 certification and 100% site-level safety risk assessments.

Environmental performance showed significant progress. Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse-gas emission intensity fell 70% from the 2021 baseline, far surpassing the mid-term target of a 50% cut by 2030. Water-consumption intensity dropped 71% over the same baseline period, and all sites achieved full compliance on waste and wastewater treatment.

WuXi XDC’s ESG practices received external validation during the year: Sustainalytics assigned a “Low Risk” rating, Wind maintained an “A” ESG rating, and the company earned accolades such as the “Best ESG Newcomer Award” at the 8th China Excellence IR Awards.

Looking ahead, WuXi XDC targets net-zero operations by 2050, further integration of AI to enhance sustainability, expanded renewable-energy uptake, and deeper engagement across its global bioconjugate supply chain.
