SouthGobi Resources Ltd. has confirmed that its extraordinary general meeting will be held on Thursday, 27 August 2026, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada (corresponding to Friday, 28 August 2026, in Hong Kong).

The register of members will close at the end of business on Wednesday, 8 July 2026. Shareholders recorded at that time will be entitled to receive notice of, attend and vote at the special meeting or at any subsequent postponement or adjournment.

Forms of proxy, together with any required authorities, must reach TSX Trust Company or Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited by 6:00 p.m. (Vancouver time) on Tuesday, 25 August 2026—equivalent to 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 26 August 2026, in Hong Kong—or at least 48 hours (excluding weekends and public holidays) before any deferred session of the meeting.

A formal notice and management circular detailing the meeting agenda will be distributed to shareholders in due course and filed on SEDAR+.

The announcement was authorized by the board of SouthGobi Resources Ltd., led by Mr. Yingbin Ian He as Lead Director. At the date of release, the board comprised three executive directors (Ruibin Xu, Chonglin Zhu, Chen Shen), two non-executive directors (Zhu Gao, Zaixiang Wen) and three independent non-executive directors (Yingbin Ian He, Jin Lan Quan, Fan Keung Vic Choi).
