On September 9, Meta Platforms, Inc. rose 3.6% in pre-market trading, trading at $635.56/share.

On the news front, Meta officially launched Muse, a personal AI agent capable of completing tasks such as online shopping, booking travel, filling out forms, sending emails, and even negotiating on behalf of users. The product is powered by the flagship Muse Spark 1.3 model and has been integrated with major platforms including Ticketmaster, OpenTable, and the Google ecosystem. Payments are supported through Stripe's Link, with Shop Pay and 1Password integration planned.

Muse operates around the clock with a cloud-based virtual machine, featuring overnight reflection and proactive planning capabilities. Meta offers 100 million free tokens per week, with plans to monetize through small commissions on transactions completed by the AI agent. CEO Mark Zuckerberg positioned the personal AI assistant as the biggest commercial opportunity to reach billions of users, describing it as the first step toward personal superintelligence. The product is rolling out in the US on iOS, Android, and muse.ai, with a launch on Meta AI glasses expected soon. Notably, Muse Spark 1.3, released earlier this month, has demonstrated coding performance surpassing OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Sol in multiple benchmarks.
