On December 2, 2025, CHALIECO (02068) announced that its controlling subsidiary, Shenyang Aluminum & Magnesium Engineering & Research Institute Co., Ltd. (the lead party, "Shenyang Institute"), formed a consortium with Shanghai Baoye Group Co., Ltd. ("Shanghai Baoye"), China Nonferrous Metals Twelve Metallurgical Construction Co., Ltd. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, "Shierye"), Qiyye Installation Engineering Co., Ltd. ("Qiyye"), and Yunnan Construction Investment Machinery Manufacturing & Installation Engineering Co., Ltd. ("Yunnan Construction Investment Machinery"). This consortium was awarded the contract for the new 394,000 tonnes/year electrolytic aluminum project (Phase I: 294,000 tonnes/year) for Shanxi Zhaofeng Aluminum & Electric New Material Co., Ltd. ("Shanxi Zhaofeng"). Recently, the consortium composed of Shenyang Institute, Shanghai Baoye, Shierye, Qiyye, and Yunnan Construction Investment Machinery signed the "Project EPC Contract (Consortium)" with Shanxi Zhaofeng. The total contract value is approximately RMB 3.03 billion.
