A July 23 video posted by Japan's Nikkei xTECH website shows Japanese technicians dismantling Chinese company Unitree's G1 humanoid robot to investigate its internal structure and technical capabilities.

During the video, Japanese technicians and media reporters express surprise at the high level of technology in China's humanoid robot as they disassemble it. They ultimately conclude that China's robot development has clearly moved beyond the "just showing off" stage. In the field of humanoid robots, they believe it is "probably not realistic" for Japan to close the gap with China in a short period of time.
