MEITU (01357) saw its shares rise more than 15% in early trading. At the time of writing, the stock was up 13.76% to HK$4.96, with a turnover of HK$339 million. The company recently received two awards at the PAGC 2026 Gold Sail Awards on May 27: the 2026H1 AI Overseas Pioneer and the 2026H1 Overseas Popularity Brand awards. Public information indicates that overseas markets have become a key growth area for MEITU's commercialization, particularly for its video and design productivity tools. As of December 2025, the annual recurring revenue (ARR) for MEITU's Vmake had reached approximately US$3 million. Two other products, X-Design and RoboNeo, are also highly popular among overseas users. According to a UBS report, the total overseas revenue of MEITU's applications in April 2026 increased by 42% year-over-year, with several products showing robust growth abroad. Notably, the overseas revenue for Wink nearly doubled in April. The report also highlighted that while MEITU's applications saw significant total revenue growth in mainland China during April, the growth in overseas markets was comparatively stronger.
