GEEKPLUS-W repurchases 500,000 shares for HK$4.90 million, trims free float by 0.05%

Beijing Geekplus Technology Co., Ltd. (“GEEKPLUS-W”) disclosed that it bought back 500,000 WVR Class B ordinary shares on 23 July 2026 through on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

The shares were repurchased at prices ranging from HK$9.71 to HK$9.87 per share, resulting in a volume-weighted average cost of HK$9.81 and an aggregate consideration of HK$4.90 million.

Following the buyback, the company’s outstanding shares (excluding treasury stock) fell by 0.05% to 1.00685 billion. Treasury shares increased from 16.80 million to 17.30 million, leaving the total issued share count unchanged at 1.02415 billion. The repurchased shares are being held in treasury and have not been cancelled.

The transaction forms part of the repurchase mandate approved on 26 May 2026, which authorises GEEKPLUS-W to buy back up to 102.42 million shares. To date, the company has repurchased 17.30 million shares under this mandate, representing 1.69% of the issued shares outstanding on the mandate date. In accordance with listing rules, GEEKPLUS-W is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 23 August 2026.
