UBTECH ROBOTICS (09880) saw its shares rise more than 3%. As of the time of writing, the stock was up 3.18%, trading at HK$113.8 with a turnover of HK$228 million. The increase follows news that UBTECH ROBOTICS has entered into a collaboration with Terra Robotics, a leading European robotics systems integrator. Under the agreement, Terra Robotics will serve as the exclusive distributor and strategic partner for UBTECH ROBOTICS in the German-speaking region, which includes Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Terra Robotics has placed an initial order for several dozen of UBTECH's full-size embodied AI humanoid robots. These robots will be deployed in industrial settings, including the logistics centers of ROSSMANN, a leading European chain of drugstores and personal care retailers. ROSSMANN operates in 10 countries and reports annual revenue exceeding €15 billion. This partnership marks the first time UBTECH's full-size humanoid robots will undergo a long-term, large-scale pilot in a real-world logistics environment at a major European retailer. The project is expected to serve as a significant case study for the commercial application of UBTECH's humanoid robots in European retail, logistics, and manufacturing sectors, providing strong momentum for the company's overseas revenue growth this year.
