RBC Wealth Management Hires Six Senior Private Bankers in Hong Kong and Singapore

RBC Wealth Management Asia announced today the appointment of three senior private bankers each in the Hong Kong and Singapore markets, according to informed sources.

In Hong Kong, the three new hires are: Executive Director Ivy Ma, who brings over 20 years of financial market experience and joins from Standard Chartered Bank where she served as Head of Market Sales. Previously, she held other senior roles at Standard Chartered and held financial positions in private banking, corporate banking, and retail banking at DBS Bank. Director Jackson Huang has over 25 years of experience providing private wealth management to ultra-high-net-worth clients in Greater China. He previously served as a Senior Director at J. Safra Sarasin Bank, and earlier held senior roles at DBS Private Bank, Julius Baer Bank, and Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management. Vice Director Malcolm Chai joins from UBS Global Family and Institutional Wealth, where he co-managed UHNW clients, family offices, and institutions across Greater China and Southeast Asia. He previously held relationship management roles at Julius Baer Bank and positions at OCBC Bank and Credit Suisse in Singapore and Hong Kong.

In Singapore, the three new hires are: Managing Director and Team Head Shirley Tee, who has over 20 years of private banking experience and joins as Head of the North Asia Team. She previously served as Team Head for Indonesia at Bank of Singapore, leading relationship managers to provide wealth management solutions for high-net-worth clients; she also held roles as Head of Investment Advisory at Bank of Singapore and interim Regional Head for the Philippines, and began her career as a discretionary portfolio manager at UBS. Director George Joseph has over 18 years of experience in private banking relationship management and client service in Singapore and Southeast Asia. He joins RBC Wealth Management Global South Asia Team from DBS Private Bank, and earlier held senior relationship management roles at ANZ Bank and Citibank Singapore. Vice Director Sindy Shi joins from UOB, where she served as a Greater China offshore privileged banking relationship manager, providing strategic wealth portfolio planning advice to high-net-worth clients.
