Riverine China Holdings Limited announced that independent non-executive director Mr. Shu Wa Tung Laurence has been appointed Lead Independent Non-Executive Director, effective 28 April 2026. The position carries no executive or managerial duties; Mr. Shu’s existing roles on the Board and its committees remain unchanged.

The Board stated that the designation aligns the company with recent amendments to the Hong Kong Listing Rules and the Corporate Governance Code, which encourage clearer independent oversight through a lead INED structure.

Following the change, Riverine China’s Board composition remains at eight members: four executive directors (including Chairman Mr. Xiao Xingtao), one non-executive director, and three independent non-executive directors.
