On 6 November 2025, HSBC Holdings plc cancelled 26,782,800 ordinary shares of US$0.50 each. These shares had been repurchased on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange as part of a buy-back announced on 31 July 2025.

Following the cancellation, the total number of ordinary shares in issue is 17,175,239,862, all carrying voting rights. No shares are held in treasury, resulting in the same figure for the total number of voting rights in the company.

Shareholders may use the updated total number of voting rights for any required notification of interests under the applicable Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules, as well as the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Ordinance.
