NIO Inc. (NIO) said on Sep, 01 2026 that it delivered 35,836 vehicles in Aug, 2026, a 14.5% increase from a year earlier. Year-to-date deliveries reached 262,893 units, up 57.9% from the same period in 2025. Cumulative deliveries stood at 1,260,485 as of Aug, 31 2026.

The August total comprised 21,174 vehicles under the NIO brand, 8,810 under the ONVO brand and 5,852 under the FIREFLY brand.

On Aug, 07 2026 the company launched its 4,000th battery swap station—its first fifth-generation facility—now serving models across all three brands.

NIO added that the all-new ES8 surpassed 140,000 cumulative deliveries on Aug, 21 2026, less than a year after its launch. From Jan to Jul, 2026, the ES8 ranked first in cumulative sales in both the large SUV segment and among premium SUVs priced above the stated threshold in China.
