Wan Leader releases 2025/26 ESG Report: zero customer complaints, 45% staff turnover, 20.95 tCO₂e direct emissions

Wan Leader International has published its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report for the year ended 31 March 2026, detailing performance across its Hong Kong-based freight-forwarding and logistics operations.

Governance and strategic focus • The Board retains ultimate oversight of ESG strategy, supported by an ESG working group comprising the CEO, CFO and operational representatives. • Three priorities guide policy: enhancing the value chain, caring for employees, and protecting the environment.

Operational highlights • Core businesses: freight forwarding and related logistics services in Hong Kong. • Reporting period: 1 April 2025 – 31 March 2026. • No cases of non-compliance with product responsibility, anti-corruption, labour or environmental regulations were identified.

Value-chain management • Major suppliers totalled 66 (2025: 68), with 64 located in Hong Kong. • Strict onboarding and periodic evaluation cover quality, environmental and social criteria. • Zero customer complaints were recorded (2025: 0). • HK$10,000 donated to the Hong Kong Health Association during the year.

Human capital metrics • Workforce stood at 17 employees (2025: 23); 76.5% male, 23.5% female. • Staff turnover totalled nine employees, representing a 45.00% turnover rate (2025: 61.30%). • 35.3% of employees received training, averaging 8.3 hours each; training subsidies amounted to HK$3,800. • No work-related fatalities occurred during the past three financial years; zero lost days were recorded for work injuries in 2025/26. • Equal-opportunity and anti-child/forced-labour policies remained fully compliant with Hong Kong employment legislation.

Environmental performance (Hong Kong operations) • Direct (Scope 1) GHG emissions: 20.95 tCO₂e, mainly from petrol use. • Indirect (Scope 2) GHG emissions: 18.19 tCO₂e from purchased electricity. • Other indirect (Scope 3) GHG emissions: 2.75 tCO₂e from business travel and paper use. • Electricity consumption: 53,491 kWh; petrol consumption: 7,780 litres; water usage: 135 m³. • Non-hazardous waste generation: 458 kg of paper; hazardous waste deemed immaterial. • Initiatives include regular vehicle maintenance, LED lighting installation, digitalised documentation, and ongoing supplier engagement to encourage lower-emission transport solutions.

Targets and outlook • Wan Leader aims to maintain or reduce energy and resource consumption in the next reporting cycle while continuing zero-tolerance practices toward corruption, workplace injuries, and regulatory breaches.
