CGN New Energy (01811) reported consolidated electricity generation of 1,331.5 GWh in June 2026, a 5.1% year-on-year decline. Output for the first half of 2026 totalled 9,307.3 GWh, down 2.2% versus the same period in 2025.

PRC wind farms remained the largest contributor but generated 588.8 GWh in June, sliding 17.1% amid materially weaker wind conditions. Six-month wind output fell 17.9% to 4,523.6 GWh.

Solar assets offset part of the shortfall: bolstered by capacity additions, PRC solar generation jumped 33.5% to 313.6 GWh in June and rose 35.3% to 1,562.6 GWh for the half-year.

PRC gas-fired projects delivered modest growth, up 6.3% year-on-year to 11.9 GWh in June and 3.7% higher at 22.3 GWh for the six-month period.

Hydro output in Guangxi weakened; June generation declined 10.5% to 20.4 GWh. Nevertheless, favourable water inflows earlier in the year lifted first-half hydro production by 12.3% to 94.3 GWh.

Operations in Korea produced 396.8 GWh in June, down 6.5% annually, but still achieved a 12.8% increase to 3,104.5 GWh for the first six months of 2026.
