On the evening of August 3, WUXI APPTEC released its interim results for FY2026. In the first half, the company achieved total revenue of RMB 28.897 billion, a year-on-year increase of 38.9%; net profit attributable to shareholders reached RMB 11.08 billion, up 29.4% year-on-year; and adjusted Non-IFRS net profit attributable to shareholders soared 83.2% to RMB 11.57 billion.
On a quarterly basis, in the second quarter of this year, the company generated revenue of RMB 16.46 billion, a 47.7% increase year-on-year; net profit attributable to shareholders was RMB 6.43 billion, up 31.5%; and adjusted Non-IFRS net profit attributable to shareholders jumped 91.7% to RMB 6.97 billion.
As of the end of June, the company's order backlog from continuing operations stood at RMB 66.43 billion, a 25.2% increase year-on-year, providing strong support for future revenue conversion. Based on the robust first-half performance and order visibility, the company has comprehensively raised its full-year FY2026 guidance. The overall revenue target has been revised upward from RMB 51.3-53.0 billion to RMB 58.5-60.5 billion, with the year-on-year growth rate for continuing operations revenue increasing from 18%-22% to 35%-39%. The full-year capital expenditure guidance has been raised from RMB 6.5-7.5 billion to RMB 7.5-8.5 billion, as the company accelerates global capacity expansion, with the new Changzhou base set to be brought forward.
