On the morning of October 26, it was announced that Medtronic's Digital Health Innovation Hub and Medtronic Museum officially opened at the Beijing International Medical Innovation Park (BioPark) yesterday.

  According to Gu Yushao, Medtronic's Global Senior Vice President and President of Greater China, the establishment of the Digital Health Innovation Hub marks a key step in Medtronic's commitment to the Chinese market and enhancing its local value chain. It reflects the company's unwavering confidence that China is poised to become the world's largest healthcare market and a significant source of innovation. He expressed a desire to leverage Beijing's leading medical resources and innovative momentum to collaborate with partners in developing more smart healthcare innovation models, thereby shaping the future landscape of healthcare.   The hub is dedicated to developing disease management solutions based on artificial intelligence and big data, focusing on fields such as cardiovascular health, minimally invasive surgery, and neuroscience. It aims to establish a high-level medical training center and create a patient care center that incorporates digital technologies to enhance patient preventive management services. Through this platform, Medtronic seeks to explore new patient-centered smart healthcare models that offer more personalized, intelligent, and efficient treatment options, while also translating Chinese medical practices into innovative examples with global significance.   Additionally, the hub features the Medtronic Museum, which showcases the evolution and breakthroughs in medical technology through four main exhibition areas: "Rhythm of Life," "Central Universe," "Future Surgery," and "Smart Healthcare." This aims to enhance public scientific education and the dissemination of health concepts.   As an important extension of Medtronic's global R&D system, the hub serves as a crucial link connecting global innovation forces with local ecological partners in China. Driven by artificial intelligence, it aims to elevate China's innovative practices in digital healthcare to a global level, building a healthier future that is more efficient and inclusive.   Having entered China 36 years ago, Medtronic has evolved from being a mere technology importer to becoming an important co-creator in the Chinese healthcare industry.
