Vipshop, a leading off-price e-commerce platform, has launched a special promotional campaign for Chengdu women's footwear brands. The event, titled "Cloud Shopping in Chengdu, Refreshing Lives," offers consumers an instant 15% discount on products from premium local brands including Cameido, Uncle Wu in High Heels, Ame Handmade Women's Shoes, and Huachenyue. By combining government-issued consumption vouchers with platform discounts, the initiative brings additional value to spring outings.

From April 27 to 29, shoppers can access the promotion by searching "Cloud Shopping in Chengdu" or "Chengdu Consumption Vouchers" on the Vipshop app. The discount applies to eligible products from participating Chengdu footwear brands, with maximum savings of up to 1,500 RMB. These vouchers can be used alongside other platform and brand promotions, subject to availability.

The campaign reflects both targeted government efforts to stimulate seasonal consumption and Vipshop's long-term commitment to supporting Chengdu's footwear industry and regional brand development. A company representative noted that Vipshop began collaborating with Chengdu footwear brands as early as 2009, helping distribute locally produced fashionable women's shoes to female consumers nationwide. Sales of Chengdu footwear on Vipshop have maintained rapid annual growth, with successful partnerships spanning established brands with robust offline networks to emerging e-commerce labels.

Cameido, a fashion footwear brand founded in 1995, has leveraged Chengdu's manufacturing chain and Guangzhou's design expertise to expand to over 400 counters across more than 20 provinces. Since joining Vipshop in November 2016, the brand has evolved into a full-category label focusing on premium leather women's shoes complemented by trendy bags and accessories, aligning with Vipshop's core demographic of fashion-conscious female shoppers.

Vipshop's big data capabilities have supported Cameido in product design, production planning, and operational strategies, enabling faster inventory turnover. Through deep collaboration, the two have introduced differentiated product lines. Cameido has ranked among Vipshop's top-performing brands for four consecutive years, achieving sales exceeding 100 million RMB in both 2024 and 2025.

Uncle Wu in High Heels, a trendy footwear brand established in 2020, gained attention through viral marketing campaigns featuring men trying on high heels. After rapid growth on short-video and e-commerce platforms, the brand partnered with Vipshop in 2023. Using Vipshop's digital tools, Uncle Wu developed a new generation of cushioned high heels popular among career women on the platform, demonstrating how digital economy tools can swiftly empower physical products.

Ame Handmade Women's Shoes, a Chengdu-based brand founded in 2009 by Xiao Long, emphasizes craftsmanship with 90% of production steps done manually. The brand has grown rapidly via e-commerce channels, leading the southwestern women's footwear market. Vipshop provides full-chain support ranging from refined operations and data insights to co-created products, helping Ame boost both brand visibility and sales while expanding its online presence.

As a curator-led e-commerce platform, Vipshop not only serves as a sales channel and digital enabler but also facilitates collaborations between brands and regional supply chains. In recent years, Vipshop's footwear team has promoted Chengdu's manufacturing capabilities to major domestic brands such as ST&SAT, Kisskitty, Josiny, Xicun Mingwu, D:FUSE, and WESTLINK, encouraging partnerships that help position "China's Capital of Women's Shoes" on the global stage.
