CHINA SOUTH AIR (01055) announced that in February 2026, the group's passenger capacity, measured in available seat kilometers, increased by 14.39% compared to the same period last year. Domestically, regional, and international capacities rose by 11.49%, 13.24%, and 22.73%, respectively. Passenger traffic, measured in revenue passenger kilometers, grew by 13.82% year-on-year, with domestic, regional, and international traffic increasing by 10.68%, 22.35%, and 23.03%, respectively. The passenger load factor stood at 86.31%, a decrease of 0.44 percentage points from the previous year. Domestic load factor declined by 0.64 percentage points, while regional and international load factors rose by 6.05 and 0.21 percentage points, respectively.

In terms of cargo operations, freight capacity, measured in available tonne kilometers for cargo and mail, increased by 13.18% year-on-year in February 2026. Cargo and mail traffic, measured in revenue tonne kilometers, grew by 12.56%. The cargo and mail load factor was 47.02%, down 0.26 percentage points compared to the same period last year.

In February 2026, the group launched new key routes, including Guangzhou-Hohhot-Chifeng-Hohhot-Guangzhou (seven flights per week) and Hangzhou-Ho Chi Minh City-Hangzhou (seven flights per week). During the same month, the group introduced one C919 aircraft and retired three aircraft, comprising one A321, one B737-700, and one B737-800. As of the end of February 2026, the group operated a total fleet of 969 transport aircraft.
