GuocoLand (Malaysia) Berhad announced on Feb, 26 2026 that it has obtained an extension until 5:00 p.m. on Apr, 02 2026 to inform GuocoLand Limited of its decision on whether to present a proposed selective capital reduction and repayment exercise to disinterested shareholders for approval.

The exercise, first announced on Feb, 03 2026, is intended to privatise GuocoLand (Malaysia) Berhad under Section 116 of the Companies Act, 2016. All other terms of the proposal remain unchanged.
