Indonesian benchmark government bond yields climbed to their highest level in nearly two weeks, influenced by weaker U.S. Treasury bonds overnight and as traders awaited the results of a key Treasury auction scheduled for Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, the stock market closed higher for the ninth consecutive trading day, reaching its highest point in a month.

The yield on the Indonesian 10-year government bond rose by 2 basis points to 7.27%.

Data from Indonesia's Ministry of Finance showed that foreign funds were net sellers of Indonesian bonds on July 17, offloading a total of $133.2 million. The Jakarta Composite Index advanced by 1.2% to close at 6,306.283 points. This nine-day rally marks the longest continuous winning streak for the index since July 2025.
