CITIC Securities (06030) has announced the successful completion of a targeted share issuance, marking a significant capital move. The company confirmed that all conditions precedent under the stock subscription agreement had been satisfied, and the issuance was finalized on August 6, 2026.

Under the terms of the deal, CITIC Securities allotted and issued a total of 804 million new H-shares to CITIC Financial Holdings at a price of HK$23.13 per share. This issuance represents approximately 5.42% of the total issued share capital of the company immediately before completion, and about 5.14% of the total issued share capital after the allotment and issuance of the new H-shares.

The total proceeds raised from the issuance amounted to RMB 16 billion, which, after currency exchange, equated to approximately HK$18.59 billion. After deducting expenses related to the issuance, the net proceeds stand at around HK$18.413 billion, resulting in a net issuance price of approximately HK$22.91 per new H-share.
