Recent Financial Performance

In its previously released first-quarter results, the company reported GAAP net income of $11.3 million, or $1.41 per share.

This represented a significant increase from the $9.1 million, or $1.15 per share, earned in the fourth quarter of 2025.

The company's board of directors declared a cash dividend of $0.20 per share.

Operational Highlights

During the first quarter, core deposits increased by $113 million, which included a $39 million rise in low-cost deposits.

Brokered deposits and Federal Home Loan Bank borrowings decreased by $44.5 million and $50.0 million, respectively, lowering the wholesale funding ratio to 18.1%.

Since the peak in brokered deposits at the end of 2022, the company has reduced them by a cumulative $512.4 million, a decrease of 49.9%.

Net loans grew by $27.1 million, with $190 million in new loan originations for the quarter, including $34 million in SBA loans.

Updated Outlook

Management reaffirmed its 2026 guidance for net interest income and loan growth.

Due to improved prospects for SBA loan sale gains and other commercial fees, the company raised its noninterest income guidance to a range of $12 million to $13 million.

Full-year noninterest expense is projected to be approximately $64 million to $65 million.
