Prudential plc announced that on Dec, 4 2025 it cancelled 272,172 ordinary shares that had been repurchased at an average price of GBP 10.9965 per share.

Following the cancellation, the company’s issued share capital decreased to 2,554,692,739 ordinary shares from 2,554,964,911 ordinary shares.

Separately, 547,045 ordinary shares repurchased on Dec, 3 – 4 2025 remain to be cancelled. These shares were bought on the London Stock Exchange at prices ranging between GBP 10.855 and GBP 11.135, for a total consideration of about GBP 3.0 million.

Under the share-buyback mandate approved on May, 14 2025, Prudential plc is authorised to repurchase up to 262,668,701 shares; 52,289,183 shares (about 2.01 % of the share count on the mandate date) have been repurchased to date.

A moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales resulting from these repurchases is in place until Jan, 3 2026.
