On November 27, Alibaba International's "Industrial Products Selection Center" was established in Shandong Xinminghui Safety Technology Co., Ltd., located in Lanshan District, Linyi City. This selection center is Alibaba International's first industrial product vertical hub in northern China and the country's first international selection hub focusing on hardware, labor protection, and other industrial goods.

"It is not a traditional product exhibition hall but a comprehensive overseas service platform integrating product selection, cross-border trade, supply chain services, brand incubation, and digital empowerment," said Li Hui, head of Xinminghui. "Linyi's commercial hub possesses the strongest supply chain resources for serving B2B clients, especially in the industrial sector, where its complete industrial chain, cost-effectiveness, and responsiveness meet global market demands."

Linyi, known as the "City of Chinese Markets" and "China's Logistics Capital," was chosen for Alibaba International's first industrial selection center due to its 40-year commercial legacy. The city now hosts 136 specialized wholesale markets, offering over 6 million products across 27 major categories, covering both production and consumer goods. Daily, thousands of new products are launched, 300,000 business negotiations take place, and 20,000 trucks move in and out.

With decades of industry expertise, Xinminghui has become a "full-chain expert" in industrial products, offering over 400,000 SKUs across eight categories, including safety protection and tools. More than 40% of its products are customized in collaboration with leading manufacturers, addressing specific scenarios and the implicit needs of international clients.

"This marks a milestone in Xinminghui's collaboration with Alibaba International and a 'golden window' for Linyi's industrial products to go global," Li Hui noted. "We will leverage Xinminghui's 20 years of industrial expertise and supply chain advantages, combined with Alibaba International's global reach and digital infrastructure, to create a trusted, efficient sourcing platform for global buyers."

Overseas buyers often face challenges in sourcing, trust, and service when purchasing Chinese industrial products. The new selection center aims to systematically curate high-quality suppliers and products from Linyi and other industrial clusters, initially showcasing over 20,000 rigorously vetted "hot-selling industrial products," such as EU CE-certified power tools and North America-compliant explosion-proof equipment, along with country-specific solution packages.

Backed by Linyi's competitive logistics, Xinminghui provides overseas clients with one-stop "product + training + after-sales" services. As Lanshan District advances digitalization and internationalization, Xinminghui has expanded its presence across e-commerce platforms like Taobao, Tmall, and JD.com, operating over 20 stores. Its self-developed NEBULA system digitizes procurement, sales, warehousing, and after-sales, enabling full-process visibility and efficiency.

Lanshan District now hosts 30 digital platform enterprises like Xinminghui. By empowering commerce and logistics with digital tools, the district has strengthened platforms such as the "China Market Hub" digital trade platform, Linyi Commerce Logistics Big Data Platform, and "Yi Lian Tong" supply chain financing service, while fostering live-streaming e-commerce, vertical e-commerce, and industrial e-commerce.

The district boasts two national e-commerce demonstration bases and 97,000 registered live-streaming e-commerce merchants, making it a hub for platform economy and northern China's largest live-streaming e-commerce base.

Lanshan District has also achieved coordinated development in road, rail, sea, and air logistics. It is China's first city to simultaneously host the Linyi TIR Consolidation Center, Linyi Convenient Transport Service Center, and International Road Transport Vehicle Inspection Center. As one of Shandong's three China-Europe freight train hubs, it has handled over 2,200 international road transport trips and 454 China-Europe freight train operations.
