Microware Group Limited (1985) has announced that Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu will resign as auditor due to differing views on the audit fee for the year ending 31 March 2026. The fee disagreement arises from additional audit efforts needed following the group’s expansion in the PRC and its recent acquisition of an associate and financial assets. Deloitte confirmed there are no other matters that should be brought to the attention of shareholders.
Microware Group Limited’s board and its audit committee considered proposals from several professional accounting firms and concluded that appointing HLB Hodgson Impey Cheng Limited (HLB) would be more cost-effective while maintaining high audit standards. The board also confirmed that Deloitte had not started any audit work for the year ending 31 March 2026. HLB will assume the role of auditor from 23 February 2026 until the next annual general meeting. Microware Group Limited expressed appreciation to Deloitte for its past services and welcomed HLB’s appointment.
