The annual 2025 World Artificial Intelligence Conference has brought China's tech sector into the AI era. As part of a special Future Talk series, an exclusive interview was conducted with PPIO co-founder and CEO Yao Xin.
He stated: "The core of Agent Infra is not just computing power itself, but focuses more on Runtime environments, enabling Agents to autonomously execute, make decisions, judge and plan, while delivering complete tasks."
Yao Xin explained, "Our newly released Agentic AI Infra addresses the pain points of enabling Agents to truly run and deploy at scale. The Agent sandbox achieves cold startup times of less than 200ms and VM-level security isolation, with costs more than 50% lower than comparable foreign products. This significantly reduces the development barriers and operational costs of Agent applications for enterprises and developers. We expect this will accelerate the formation of China's Agent ecosystem, enabling more enterprises to rapidly deploy AI agents."
According to Yao Xin, PPIO has currently released an intelligent agent infrastructure platform, divided into two categories: general version and enterprise version. The general version is deployed on PPIO's public cloud services, targeting small and medium developers with "out-of-the-box, pay-as-you-go" features. The enterprise version supports private deployment to meet customization needs.
Yao Xin revealed that the general version of the AI agent model service products has integrated multiple "secondary optimized" inference models including kimi-K2, Qwen3-coder, and DeepSeek R1, with DeepSeek's context window being the first to be extended to 160K to accommodate Agent application development requirements.
Finally, he concluded: "By jointly advancing software, algorithms, and hardware - these three driving forces - achieving a ten-fold reduction in token costs annually is completely feasible." In his view, computing power cost reduction is a prerequisite for the AI industry's true explosive growth, and this is precisely the most important mission of infrastructure companies like PPIO - laying a solid foundation in advance for AI's explosive development.
