China Maple Leaf Educational Systems Limited (MAPLELEAF EDU) has cancelled 47.48 million ordinary shares that were repurchased on the open market between 1 December 2025 and 5 February 2026. The cancellation was completed on 6 July 2026.

Prior to cancellation, the company had 2.89 billion issued shares. Following the removal of the repurchased shares, the total number of issued shares decreased to 2.84 billion, representing a 1.64 % reduction in the company’s share capital.

The board confirmed that the share repurchase and cancellation complied with all applicable Hong Kong Stock Exchange listing rules and regulatory requirements. No treasury shares remain on the company’s books after the cancellation.
