Based on the established pricing mechanism for refined oil products, the next adjustment to fuel prices will take effect at 24:00 this Thursday, September 24th.

As of September 22nd, the current pricing cycle has entered its 8th working day. The crude oil change rate has dropped significantly from 10.05% on September 21st to the current 9.32%. Consequently, the projected increase for gasoline and diesel retail prices has been revised down from 580 yuan per tonne to 540 yuan per tonne, which translates to a rise of approximately 0.41 to 0.49 yuan per liter.

For a typical 50-liter fuel tank, this means filling up will cost around 20.5 to 24.5 yuan more. The final adjusted prices for this round will be subject to the official announcement by the National Development and Reform Commission.
