Recently, the "2026 AI Application Capability and Digital Literacy Enhancement Training for Teachers of Finance and Business Majors in Secondary Vocational Schools in the Chang-Zhu-Tan Region" came to a successful conclusion. The event was sponsored by the Changsha Education Bureau and organized by the Changsha Academy of Educational Sciences and Changsha Finance and Economics School. Fifty backbone teachers and major leaders in finance and business from secondary vocational schools across Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Xiangtan gathered in the Star City to jointly explore new pathways for the deep integration of artificial intelligence with professional teaching.

Liu Jun, Director of the Educational Research Office and a full senior lecturer at Changsha Finance and Economics School, delivered the first special lecture titled "The Professional Development of Secondary Vocational Teachers Under the Guidance of the Educator Spirit." Liu Jun provided an in-depth interpretation of the essence of the educator spirit, analyzed the historical coordinates of secondary vocational teachers, and guided participants to closely combine teacher ethics and conduct with the enhancement of digital literacy, so as to embark on a sound path of professional development in the new era.

The team led by Associate Professor Cai Long from Hunan Engineering Polytechnic guided participants through high-intensity hands-on training. During the tool practice session, participants built personal course knowledge bases on site, used AI to generate teaching competition lesson plans, and developed classroom management mini-programs. They also studied in depth the configuration of MCP, experts, and Skills in WorkBuddy, and used Harness to create an intelligent teacher workstation. In the evening, each group worked late into the night polishing their works, creating a lively atmosphere of discussion.

Trainees expressed that this training was "practical and focused on hands-on operation." It not only broadened their digital vision but also equipped them with AI tools that can be directly applied in the classroom, which is of great benefit to their future teaching ability improvement and preparation for teaching competency competitions.

During the results presentation session, six groups took the stage in turn to deliver the answers from their three-day "intensive training." Intelligent lesson plans, classroom mini-programs, personalized knowledge bases—accounting, e-commerce, logistics, and marketing—every major was "re-translated" by AI. Researchers Zhou Libo and Zhou Zili, together with Li Zuoshi, Director of the Information Technology Teaching and Research Office at Changsha Finance and Economics School, provided comments one by one, affirming the ingenuity while also pointing out areas for optimization. Finally, Zhou Libo summarized the training: "From understanding to taking away, the substantial works in your hands are the best proof of completion."

Although the three-day recharging journey has ended, the exploration of digitally empowering the classroom has just begun. As the organizer, Changsha Finance and Economics School provided full support throughout, using thoughtful logistics and professional services to make this cross-city seminar warm and welcoming. In the future, Changsha Finance and Economics School will take this opportunity to continuously deepen digital teaching reform, join hands with sister institutions in the Chang-Zhu-Tan region to build and share together, let AI truly "take root" in finance and business classrooms, and contribute more "Changsha experience" to the high-quality development of secondary vocational education.
