Baidu announced the release of its next-generation Wenxin large model X1.1 with significant technical breakthroughs at the Baidu WAVE SUMMIT Deep Learning Developer Conference 2025 held on September 9th morning.

According to Baidu CTO Wang Haifeng, the upgraded model demonstrates substantial improvements across multiple performance metrics. The model achieves a 34.8% enhancement in content factuality through reinforcement learning technology based on knowledge consistency verification. Additionally, the system shows a 12.5% improvement in instruction-following capabilities via reinforcement learning powered by instruction validators. The model also delivers a 9.6% boost in agent capabilities through multi-round reinforcement learning incorporating both chain of thought and chain of action methodologies.

These technological advances represent Baidu's continued commitment to enhancing AI model performance and reliability in practical applications.
