On the morning of January 22, 2026, the commencement and commissioning ceremony for key projects in the Lingang New Area for January 2026 was held at the main venue of the Yuanchuang Kexin Pilot Project. A total of 15 projects, spanning industries, comprehensive bonded zones, commercial, cultural, sports, and tourism facilities, social livelihood initiatives, ecological greening, and water conservation, were initiated, completed, or put into operation in the Lingang New Area during January 2026. The total investment for the newly commenced projects amounts to approximately 13.6 billion yuan.

Among these, the "Semiconductor Core Components and Systems Project" is situated in the Oriental Core Port plot within the Lingang New Area. With an investment of 5 billion yuan from Shanghai Yuanchuang Kexin Semiconductor Co., Ltd., the project occupies about 108 acres and features a total construction area of 150,000 square meters. It will primarily establish standard production lines for MFC, gas cabinets, gas engineering, vacuum gauges, and specialized components for the broad semiconductor industry.
