The city has issued an additional 40,000 qualification vouchers for its trade-in program.

According to information from the Municipal Commerce Bureau, starting July 17th, the city has released an extra 40,000 qualification vouchers for trade-ins. This batch includes 30,000 vouchers for home appliances and 10,000 vouchers for digital products, aiming to meet the consumer demand for upgrading home appliances and digital devices during the summer period.

The distribution of these subsidy qualification vouchers for home appliances and digital products will continue to follow a one-time release, rolling distribution method, available until supplies last.

Consumers in need can log into the Cloud QuickPass app to claim the subsidy qualification vouchers. Desktop computers are eligible for the home appliance trade-in vouchers, while mobile phones and tablets are eligible for the digital product purchase vouchers. The qualification vouchers are valid only on the day of issuance.

Regarding the home appliance trade-in program, individual consumers purchasing products that meet the Grade 1 energy efficiency or water efficiency standards from six categories—refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, air conditioners, computers, and water heaters—can enjoy a subsidy equivalent to 15% of the selling price.

Each consumer is eligible for a subsidy on one item per product category, with a maximum subsidy of 1,500 yuan per single item.

The subsidy for purchasing new digital and smart products covers four categories: mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches (wristbands), and smart glasses. Products with a selling price not exceeding 6,000 yuan are eligible for a 15% subsidy.

Each consumer can receive a subsidy for one item per product category, with a maximum subsidy of 500 yuan per item.

Since the launch of this year's home appliance and digital product trade-in campaign, the city has focused on efficiently utilizing national subsidy funds. By dynamically tracking the online and offline redemption data of consumption vouchers and continuously optimizing distribution methods based on public demand, the program aims to consistently deliver policy benefits and stimulate market consumption potential.
