Recently, the inbound duty-free shop at Nanning Wuxu International Airport (referred to as "Nanning Airport") officially began operations. This shop is among the first batch approved for establishment in Guangxi and is the first to officially open.

The Nanning Airport inbound duty-free shop is located on the second floor of the international arrivals area in Terminal 2 of Nanning Airport, covering an area of approximately 240 square meters. It primarily sells perfumes, cosmetics, tobacco, alcohol, food, and other categories. After arriving and before leaving the airport, inbound passengers can conveniently purchase goods in the international arrivals area.

With the opening of this shop, Nanning Airport has completed the inbound duty-free service link on top of its existing outbound duty-free services, further improving the two-way "outbound + inbound" duty-free service function and continuously meeting the consumption needs of inbound and outbound travelers.

Currently, Nanning Airport continues to expand the scale of its international route network, constantly improving its aviation service level and enhancing its influence toward ASEAN. Since 2026, Nanning Airport has cumulatively opened international passenger routes to ASEAN destinations including Bangkok, Phnom Penh, and Singapore, and has newly launched routes such as Shijiazhuang–Nanning–Bangkok and Taiyuan–Nanning–Yangon, connecting domestic cities to ASEAN countries via Nanning. This has formed a dual-fan route network structure with trunk routes as the mainstay, branch routes as supplements, and trunk-branch complementarity, linking domestic and ASEAN destinations.
