Alibaba has unveiled an upgraded version of its image generation and editing model, Qwen-Image. The new iteration enhances consistency in image editing while achieving breakthroughs in multi-perspective transformation, multi-image fusion, and multimodal reasoning. The updated Qwen-Image is now exclusively available on the Qianwen App, offering users unlimited free access.

The previous base version of Qwen-Image demonstrated cutting-edge performance across multiple benchmarks, including GenEval, DPG, and OneIG-Bench for general image generation, as well as GEdit, ImgEdit, and GSO for image editing. These results highlight its robust capabilities in both image generation and editing.
