At the 2026 interim results conference held today, Bank Of Communications Co.,Ltd. Vice Chairman and President Zhang Baojiang detailed the bank's "12355" strategic framework.

The "1" signifies the overarching goal of building a "world-class banking group with distinctive competitive advantages." The "2" refers to two key drivers: Shanghai's role as a source of innovation and digital transformation.

The "3" highlights three distinctive strengths: comprehensive service capabilities, cross-border service expertise, and wealth management for residents. The first "5" denotes five fundamental capabilities: customer management, risk control, technology leadership, resource allocation, and systematic execution. The final "5" addresses the five key areas of financial work, tailored to local conditions.

Zhang emphasized that while the plan is merely a blueprint, the critical task lies in its implementation. "We are committed to doing what is difficult yet correct, persisting over time, and driving the plan forward through steady, step-by-step efforts," he noted.
