Going into Towns and Villages to Conduct Offline National Defense Law Promotion

The town's armed forces department, relying on promotional service activities, distributed brochures and flyers on national defense mobilization, civil air defense, and military facility protection to passersby, while explaining national defense-related laws and regulations on site and popularizing civil air defense safety knowledge and military recruitment incentive policies. Through face-to-face question-and-answer sessions, the public was guided to care about, support, and love national defense, creating a strong social atmosphere of widespread public concern and participation in national defense education across the jurisdiction.

Entering School Classrooms to Conduct Special National Defense Education Lectures

Staff from the town's armed forces department went to Xishuangbanna Vocational and Technical College to carry out national defense education campus lectures, covering topics such as national security situations, national defense knowledge, military recruitment policies, and patriotic education. They provided instruction to young students, guiding them to recognize the importance of national security, cultivating patriotic sentiments, stimulating enthusiasm among young students to devote themselves to national defense and actively enlist in the military, and promoting national defense education to permeate the minds of young students.

Focusing on Red Heritage to Organize Special Concentrated Study and Education

Village (community) "two committees" teams were organized to collectively watch a series of special programs produced at the central and provincial levels commemorating the 90th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army's Long March, revisiting the eventful years of the Long March, experiencing the great Long March spirit, inheriting red genes, and continuing the red bloodline. After watching, exchange discussions were held to draw strength from the profound red history and further strengthen the sense of responsibility to stand by one's post and guard the border.

Supporting the Military and Honoring Families with Visits to Veteran Soldiers

During the activities, staff from the town's armed forces department visited veteran soldiers at their homes, engaging in heart-to-heart conversations, listening carefully to veterans recalling their military years, gaining a detailed understanding of their health conditions and daily lives, and conveying organizational care and greetings. They also explained the latest military support and preferential treatment policies to veterans, solidifying service and support work for retired military personnel, and truly delivering the warmth of the Party and government to veterans.

This series of activities organically integrated national defense warning education, campus national defense lectures, red history study, and military support visits, effectively strengthening the awareness of patriotism and military support among cadres, residents, and young students in the jurisdiction. Next, Menglun Town will push national defense education toward normalization, continuously focusing on key tasks such as militia team building, military recruitment policy promotion, military support and family preferential treatment, and national defense education on campus, steadily solidifying the ideological foundation of national defense.
