First, illegal occupation and damage to forestry and grassland resources, including organized land clearance, cultivation or enclosure of woodlands, grasslands and wetlands, unlawful tree cutting or grass destruction, and unsanctioned sand or soil extraction carried out by families, clans or criminal gangs. Second, offenses against wildlife, including the organized hunting and trading of wild animals or plants, destruction of their habitats, and participation in illicit profit chains linked to organized crime. Third, corruption and shielding conduct, such as public officials acting as protectors for those breaking laws in forestry and grassland-related matters or assisting offenders in evading supervision. Fourth, other criminal acts that harm forestry, grassland and wetland resources or infringe upon the interests of the people.
