Taimei Tech released its 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, detailing continued progress in governance restructuring, emissions control and AI-driven operational efficiency.
Environmental Performance • Total greenhouse-gas emissions fell to 400.35 tCO₂e, while emissions intensity declined 15.71% to 0.59 tCO₂e per employee versus 2024. • Energy-consumption intensity dropped 19.85% year-on-year to 1.05 MWh per employee; electricity usage was 616.12 MWh and vehicle fuel 100.40 MWh. • Non-hazardous waste intensity decreased to 0.15 t per employee after a broad paper-reduction programme and wider digital-workflow adoption. • Taimei Tech met or exceeded its 2030 targets for per-capita reductions in greenhouse-gas emissions, energy consumption and waste five years ahead of schedule.
Strategic Highlights • The “WiZ” AI platform anchors a shift from SaaS tools to an integrated “Digital Productivity” suite, including iDM (data-management), iCTA (document), iPV (pharmacovigilance) and iMAP (medical monitoring) agents. • AI applications cut initial pharmacovigilance case-entry time from 50 minutes to 40 seconds, lifted processing efficiency up to 300%, and boosted clinical-database build efficiency by 80%. • Three global delivery centres—China, Singapore and the US—support projects in 30 countries.
Governance and Compliance • Board-level ESG oversight is supported by a cross-functional working group drawn from R&D, data security, public affairs and HR. • Taimei Tech obtained ISO/IEC 42001:2023 Artificial Intelligence Management System certification and scored 938/1000 in the CyberVadis information-security audit. • No breaches of anti-corruption policy, child labour, forced labour or work-related injuries were reported in 2025.
Human Capital • Headcount rose to 681, with women representing 60.65% of employees. • Staff turnover fell to 15.6% from 33.5% in 2024. • All employees received training, averaging 11.09 hours per person; senior and middle managers averaged 16.65 and 16.80 hours respectively.
Supply-Chain and Community • The approved supplier base reached 833, 818 of which are in Mainland China; suppliers sign mandatory anti-bribery commitments. • Taimei Tech donated RMB 10,000 to Yunnan rural-revitalisation projects during the year.
Outlook The report reiterates continued investment in AI, global compliance and green operations to maintain emissions and energy reductions while expanding international clinical-research services.
