Company Overview and Market Position

Amrize is a major supplier of construction materials across North America, having been spun off from Holcim in June 2025 and subsequently listing on both the New York Stock Exchange and the SIX Swiss Exchange with an initial valuation of approximately $30 billion.

The company is headquartered in Chicago, with its registered office in Zug, Switzerland, and operates over 1,000 sites across the United States and Canada, employing around 19,000 people.

It reported revenue of $11.8 billion for 2025.

The firm provides a comprehensive product portfolio, including cement, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and building envelope systems, offering integrated solutions from foundations to roofing for professional builders.

Recent Financial Performance and Outlook

The company's operations are segmented into Construction Materials and Building Envelope.

For the first quarter of 2026, Amrize reported revenue of $2.178 billion, a 4.7% year-over-year increase, primarily driven by a 12.9% revenue rise in the Construction Materials segment and double-digit volume growth in cement and aggregates.

Revenue in the Building Envelope segment declined by 9.8%, impacted by soft roofing demand and temporary plant shutdowns, contributing to a net loss of $118 million for the quarter and an adjusted loss per share of $0.16.

Amrize Chief Executive Officer Jan Jenisch stated that the company was encouraged by its start to the year and anticipates second-quarter results will benefit from price increases implemented in April and continued robust demand.

The company reaffirmed its full-year 2026 guidance, projecting revenue between $12.29 billion and $12.52 billion, representing growth of 4% to 6%, and adjusted EBITDA in the range of $3.25 billion to $3.34 billion, an increase of 8% to 11%.
