DeepSeek-V4-Flash (V4 Flash) official version API launched public beta testing today, July 31.

According to official sources, the V4 Flash's Agent capabilities have been significantly enhanced, outperforming models such as V4-Pro-Preview and Z.AI GLM-5.2 across multiple benchmark tests. For Code Agent tasks in public benchmark sets, the official V4 Flash was tested using the minimalist mode of DeepSeek Harness (to be released soon) as the framework, employing the maximum settings with topp=0.95 and temperature=1.0.

Currently, the official V4-Flash natively supports the Responses API format and has been optimized for Codex adaptation. The model structure and size of V4-Flash-0731 remain consistent with V4-Flash-Preview, with only post-training being re-applied. This upgrade exclusively targets the DeepSeek-V4-Flash API interface, while the DeepSeek-V4-Pro API and APP/WEB models remain unchanged. The official version of DeepSeek-V4-Pro will be released as soon as possible.
