V.S. Int'l (01002.HK) has issued a positive profit alert, projecting a significant jump in earnings for the first half of its fiscal year.
The group expects to record a profit between $3 million and $4 million for the six months ending June 30, 2026, a sharp rise from the RMB 6.6 million (approximately $0.9 million) reported in the same period of 2025. Specifically, net profit attributable to equity holders of the company is anticipated to be in the range of $2 million to $3 million, compared to roughly RMB 0.6 million (about $0.1 million) a year earlier.
The substantial increase in profit is primarily driven by three factors: (i) an expansion in business scale, which has boosted revenue by approximately $3 million and correspondingly lifted gross profit; (ii) a rise in rental income of about $0.2 million from leasing out a factory in Zhuhai, China; and (iii) a reduction in selling expenses of roughly $0.2 million.
