Enterprise production has accelerated. At Sichuan Pengruiyuan Food Co., Ltd., lemon deep-processing production lines are operating at full speed, shipping batches of ordered products nationwide. In the Anta (Hongxing Erke) Anyue production base, the 12th production line has officially commenced operation. Pairs of stylish, high-quality sports shoes are taking shape on the assembly line, with workers' busy figures and the hum of machinery composing a dynamic production symphony.

This spring marks the beginning of the "16th Five-Year Plan" period, a historically significant season for starting new chapters.

**Developing City Through Industry: Forging Core Strength in "3+1" Leading Industries**

On March 4, the facility of Anta (Ziyang) Industrial Co., Ltd. in Anyue Economic Development Zone was bustling with activity. With the official launch of its 12th production line, Anta's largest sports shoe production base outside its Fujian headquarters gained new momentum. In 2025, the enterprise produced 5.8 million pairs of shoes and paid 13.5 million yuan in taxes.

The thriving development of Anta's Anyue production base exemplifies the robust rise of the local sports equipment industry. So far, the Anyue footwear and apparel industrial park has attracted 115 enterprises, gathered over 20 well-known domestic and international brands, achieved 80% industrial chain completeness and 70% local supporting rate, ranking among the top in Western China in industrial supporting capability.

The clean energy sector is also demonstrating strong momentum. Inside the modern plant of Sichuan Zhongqi New Energy Equipment Co., Ltd., production lines are running at high speed. Specializing in energy gas pressurization equipment, the company saw its output value surge from 85 million yuan to 150 million yuan within two years of operation, with sales revenue exceeding 200 million yuan.

Such rapid growth is not an isolated case. In October last year, the Ziyang Branch of Southwest Oil and Gas Field Natural Gas Purification Plant, China's largest single-set sulfur-containing natural gas purification facility, became fully operational, with an annual raw gas processing capacity of 4 billion cubic meters. Ziyang Gas Power Plant of Chuanto Group generated 2.75 billion kWh of electricity last year, locally converting over 500 million cubic meters of natural gas.

Aiming to become the top natural gas-producing county in the Sichuan-Chongqing region, Anyue is vigorously building a complete industrial chain from exploration and development to conversion and utilization. Last year, Anyue's natural gas output reached 7.453 billion cubic meters, with purification volume hitting 5.642 billion cubic meters, up 15.3% and 21.3% year-on-year respectively. Anyue lemons are gaining popularity overseas, becoming the first fruit category in the province with export value exceeding 100 million yuan.

In Maodian Community, Chaoyang Town, a row of new electric vehicle charging stations stands out. This 1.8-million-yuan project, jointly invested by the community, enterprises, and neighboring villages, has generated approximately 90,000 yuan in net profit within less than two months of operation. More notably, its governance innovation involves a "land shareholding + points reward" model, transforming farmers from "land lessors" into "project partners," successfully overcoming land use bottlenecks.

Urban renewal also showcases highlights. Through systematic micro-renewal, Ximochi Community in Yuecheng Street has transformed quiet old alleys into an urban cultural salon integrating cultural displays, community interaction, and tourism experiences. Post-renovation, the community regularly hosts cultural markets, themed exhibitions, calligraphy experiences, and grotto study tours, revitalizing the old alleys and infusing the community with vitality and a human touch.

In recent years, Anyue has steadily advanced urban-rural integration, focused on strengthening the county seat, promoted coordinated regional development, built livable, workable, and beautiful villages, and optimized infrastructure.

Urban functions continue to improve. Organic renewal in the old urban area is accelerating, with 144 old residential communities refurbished, benefiting 22,000 households and 62,000 people. The county rebuilt or newly laid 150 km of urban pipelines and constructed 14 new civic parks and "pocket parks."

Additionally, the comprehensive building and student cafeteria of Anyue Middle School's junior section were fully completed, and 33 customized school bus routes were launched, benefiting thousands of students.

Healthcare addresses essential livelihood needs. Anyue tackles challenges through紧密-type county medical community construction, promoting "multi-disciplinary collaborative diagnosis and treatment," with experts下沉基层 for joint consultations. The county-township-village three-tier medical system is continuously improved, forming a new pattern where "minor illnesses are treated locally, major illnesses addressed at hospitals, and recovery happens back in the community." Over the past five years, the average cost per inpatient admission within the county has decreased by 21.5%, effectively reducing the medical burden on residents.

Ensuring the elderly are cared for and supported is a vital aspect of public welfare. In the second half of 2025, a provincial-level livelihood project termed "respite service" was implemented in Anyue, providing families with severely disabled elderly members temporary care (up to 10 days) either in institutions or at home.
