Prudential plc announced that on Mar, 20 2026 it cancelled 406,076 previously repurchased ordinary shares, trimming its issued share capital to about 2,530.324 million shares from 2,530.730 million shares.

The company also reported that 370,801 shares repurchased on Mar, 19 2026 and 369,491 shares repurchased on Mar, 20 2026 remain pending cancellation.

These transactions fall under the share repurchase mandate approved on May, 14 2025, which allows Prudential to buy back up to 262.669 million shares. To date, the company has repurchased roughly 76.860 million shares, representing 2.95% of the shares outstanding when the mandate was granted.
