Shangri-La Hotel Public Company Limited (SHANG) reported that profit attributable to equity holders for the three months ended Sep, 30 2025 surged 150.8 per cent year on year to 87.1 million baht, up from 34.7 million baht in the same period of 2024. The turnaround was mainly driven by higher foreign-exchange gains from loans to a related company and lower income-tax expenses.

For the nine-month period to Sep, 30 2025, profit attributable to equity holders fell 40.9 per cent to 206.0 million baht, compared with 348.6 million baht a year earlier, reflecting weaker operating performance at Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok and Shangri-La Hotel, Chiang Mai, as well as higher exchange losses on loans to associates.

On a standalone basis, the company recorded a quarterly net profit of 54.6 million baht, down 65.1 per cent from 156.3 million baht a year ago, while nine-month standalone profit slid 33.0 per cent to 292.9 million baht.

Shangri-La Asia Limited holds a 73.61 per cent stake in SHANG, which is listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. SHANG’s interim financial statements for the period ended Sep, 30 2025 received an unqualified review opinion from EY Office Limited.
