IMOTIONTECH (01274) Announces Wider FY2025 Loss Before Tax

iMotion Automotive Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. (IMOTIONTECH) reported a projected loss before tax of RMB415.19 million for the year ended December 31, 2025 (FY2025), representing an approximate 44% increase from the RMB288.34 million loss in the previous fiscal year.

The higher loss is mainly attributed to increased investment in research and development for new products and autonomous driving technology, as well as additional spending on high-end autonomous driving algorithm talent. Additionally, changes in market pricing strategies and adjustments to the product portfolio have led to reduced sales revenue of the autonomous driving controller product, SupervisionTM, impacting the gross profit.

The audited annual results for FY2025 are expected to be made public by the end of March 2026, subject to final review and confirmation.
