INSPUR DIGI ENT (00596) has released its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, showing a 13.5% year-on-year decline in revenue to RMB 3.757 billion. Profit attributable to shareholders of the company fell substantially by 66.07% to RMB 62.135 million, with basic earnings per share of RMB 5.09 cents.

According to the company announcement, the profit decline in this reporting period is primarily attributed to strategic business restructuring. The company is focusing on core AI sectors, with increased investments in AI-native product development and market expansion, which has put short-term pressure on profitability. The enterprise AI business segment recorded a loss of RMB 90.842 million.

Traditional business revenue also faced headwinds, with the cloud services and management software segment's operating profit dropping 41.11% year-on-year to RMB 129 million, compared to RMB 219 million in the same period last year.
