At the Intelligent Electric Vehicle Development High-Level Forum (2026), held from April 11th to 12th at the China National Convention Center Phase II in Beijing, Autoliv's Vice President of Supply Chain Management for China, Li Wenhao, delivered a speech. The forum's theme was "Advancing the Intelligent, Green, Integrated, and International Development of New Energy Vehicles."

Li Wenhao pointed out that in the current fiercely competitive Chinese automotive market, sustainability is not a "distant ideal" but a critical dimension for Chinese companies and their supply chains to achieve global breakthroughs and handle competition.

He acknowledged that the initial corporate reaction to sustainability is often one of "necessary investment and passive compliance." However, from a long-term perspective, the issue is fundamental to a company's globalization and sustainable development. Li Wenhao believes sustainability should not be viewed as an extra burden. Instead, it should be integrated into all operations, becoming a new driver for market differentiation and value creation.

Li Wenhao proposed the concept of "Business for Good"—achieving commercial objectives and successful business models by addressing pain points that concern society and the government. Autoliv regards collaborative sustainability across the industrial chain as a new competitive arena. By weaving it into daily work, the company transforms it into a core component of its business logic, rather than an additional item.

Li Wenhao stated that Autoliv will continue to prioritize sustainability, collaborating with partners across the industrial chain to explore new pathways for green development in the competitive market, ultimately achieving a win-win scenario for both business value and social value.
