China's Ministry of Commerce has decided to extend the investigation period for the anti-dumping case involving pea starch imported from Canada until February 12, 2027.
This decision was made under Article 26 of the Anti-Dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China, citing the complexity of the case. The original investigation was launched on August 12, 2025, through Announcement No. 41 of 2025, which initiated a formal anti-dumping probe into Canadian pea starch imports. Due to the intricate nature of the matter, the ministry has now pushed back the conclusion deadline by more than a year from the initial schedule.
