Privatisation offer for Sinarmas Land raised to 37.5 cents

The Widjaja family that is offering to privatise Sinarmas Landvia an entity called Lyon Investments has on May 10 revised their offer to 37.5 cents per share, up from the initial 31 cents.

The closing date of the offer acceptance date has also been extended to May 29 from an initial deadline of May 14.

Shareholders who had already accepted the original offer of 31 cents will be entitled to the revised offer as well.

As of May 9, the offeror has already received acceptances giving it control over 94.15% of the shares.

Manulife US REIT to generate net proceeds of US$118.8 million from sale of Atlanta property

Manulife US Real Estate Investment Trust (MUST) has sold one of its properties, Peachtree, for US$133.8 million.

The sale of this 28-storey Class A office building in Atlanta, Georgia, is to an unrelated third party and will net MUST proceeds of some US$118.8 million.

MUST will then use proceeds to make an early repayment of its 2026 debts, which will then reduce its FY2026 debt to US$45.1 million.

ThaiBev’s 2QFY2025 earnings drop 3.2% y-o-y due to decrease in all businesses except spirits

Thai Beverage (ThaiBev) has reported earnings of 14.71 billion baht ($580 million) for 1HFY2025 ended March 31, down 3.2% y-o-y.

For 2QFY2025, the group’s earnings came in 3.2% y-o-y lower at 6.74 billion baht.

The company reported a net profit of 17.77 billion baht for the 1HFY2025, down 9.2% y-o-y, and a 11.8% y-o-y lower net profit for 2QFY2025 of 8.1 billion baht.
