Wai Chi Holdings Company Limited disclosed that it repurchased 203,000 ordinary shares on 17 June 2026 through on-market transactions at prices ranging between HKD 0.84 and HKD 0.85, for a total consideration of HKD 0.17 million (volume-weighted average: HKD 0.8486 per share).
Following the buyback, the company’s outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares) fell by 0.09 % to 219.31 million shares, while treasury shares increased to 0.41 million. The total issued share capital remains unchanged at 219.73 million shares, as the repurchased shares are being held in treasury and have not been cancelled.
The repurchase was executed under the mandate approved on 27 May 2026, which authorises Wai Chi Holdings to buy back up to 21.97 million shares. Cumulatively, the company has acquired 0.41 million shares under this mandate, representing 1.88 % of the share count at the time the authority was granted.
In line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange regulations, the company is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 17 July 2026.
